How to Master the Grid

Select Letters: Use your mouse or finger to click and drag across adjacent letters (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) to form a word.
Submit Your Word: Release the mouse button or lift your finger to submit. If it's a valid word in our dictionary, it will be accepted, and you'll earn points!
Chain Combos: Valid words are removed from the grid, and new letters fall from above. Think strategically to set up powerful chain reactions for massive score bonuses.

How is the score calculated in Word it UP?

Your score is a blend of word length and the value of the letters used. Longer words are worth more, and rare letters like 'Z' or 'Q' provide a significant boost. The real path to the top of the leaderboards, however, is mastering combos by clearing multiple words in quick succession.

Is there a penalty for trying invalid words?

Absolutely not. We encourage experimentation! If you submit a sequence of letters that isn't a valid word, it simply resets with no penalty. The best way to master this anagram solver is to explore the board freely and test different combinations.
